Desco Angola is a subsidiary of Desco AB from Sweden and currently employs 50 staff. |

Desco is able to supply its clients with a complete pack of power equipment, accessories and service. This includes everything from an evaluation of the client's current power needs, to the supply and installation of adequate generating sets, to the after sales service requirements, including relevant maintenance contracts.
Desco engineers travel regularly to FG Wilson headquarters in Larne for training courses and FG Wilson engineers from Larne also visit Angola to give training to Desco staff and their clients and customers. FG Wilson and Desco work together in partnership on projects that require non-standard products.
Desco has been supplying FG Wilson diesel generators from 5.5 to over 1000 kVA for over six years and are now the biggest distributor of gensets in Angola with a large market share. Desco is the main genset supplier to Angolan telcoms, supplying power generation, not only to fixed installations, but also to the relay stations of mobile networks.
Desco clients include government departments, industrial establishments, banks, the armed forces, hospitals, construction companies, farms, private companies and domestic homeowners. Desco also supplies a large number of generating sets to the rental market. |
