Internet is quite expensive in Angola. At home you can choose between Dial-up and a wireless connection.
For Dial-up you pay 12 USD monthly fee (Nexus) plus telephone-costs: 8 US-Cent per minute = 4,80 USD per hour.
Wirless connections cost you from 99 USD per month upward. The price for the equipment and installation starts with around 600 USD (AngolaTelecom) and goes up to 2.200 USD (Nexus).
In Internetcafe's you pay arround 2,50 USD per hour. The speed is acceptable and much higher then a Dial-up connection.

Post:
Airmail between Europe and Angola takes five to ten days. Surface mail between Europe and Angola takes at least two months. Internal service is very reliable.
It's quite difficult to find postal cards. "Lello's" (local stationery shop) sells them for around 60 US-Cents, "Espelho da Moda" for 3 USD. Further you can by cards in the "Espaço Bahia" or in "Le Presidente Meridien". (All in our business directory as well as the Main Post Office.)
