The establishment of Ado Group dates back to 1956s with activities in plastics industry.

Ado has expanded its scope of business with construction materials in the following years as well as industrial minerals; barite and olivine.

Ado Mining was founded in 1994 and currently is the greatest barite producer and exporter in Turkey with a production capacity of 240.000 tpa. Ado has been producing drilling grade barite, in compliance with API/OCMA standards for mud material of and gas drilling industry. Our annual output is approximately 130-150.000 mts, almost all for exports.

Since 2002, Ado Mining has been operating two olivine mines with a production capacity of 200.000 mts. Our major olivine product groups complying with AFA Index and AFS standards are; EBT Filler, Raw Material for Refractories, Foundry Sand and Blast Cleaning Sand.

Ado has been exporting its products to following regions: The Mediterranean, Black Sea, Middle East, Europe, CIS countries and recently to West and South Africa.

Ado has a professional technical and administrative staff, very well skilled at providing its customers with the high quality products and services, while operating to the highest environmental, ethical, and socially responsible standards.
